BIOGRAPHY:
Helen Mary Perkins

Helen Mary Perkins is a highly-qualified complementary therapist of 35 years whose passion for reflexology began 25 years ago. She has also been a Bowen practitioner for 18 years. Early career experience included the management of health and beauty spas as well as working as a ‘trouble shooter’ to help under-performing salons return to growth. In the Nineties Helen enjoyed a fruitful period working within the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Queensland, Australia where she absorbed aspects of the local indigenous culture that subsequently informed her own practice. In 1998 she shared some of this experience when she presented ‘Black Cockatoos, Kangaroos and Outback Reflexology’ to the RAoA conference in Brisbane. Returning to the UK Helen joined a regional team at Sue Ryder Care setting up a complementary therapy service for this renowned hospice movement. This led to her becoming a CPD tutor for both nurses and therapists. For three years she was a director with the UK Association of Reflexologists while developing her own practice. Today she splits her time between managing this very successful practice and teaching her own specialist method of intuition and sound reflexology, which is now called Reflex Resonance Technique ™
