Our Mission

To meet the needs of the Reflexology Profession by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information; convening biennial international conferences; and promoting World Reflexology Week.

 

About ICR

REFLEXOLOGISTS determined to establish Reflexology as a self regulating profession, resolved to combine their efforts to ensure public safety and to promote the study and exchange of the knowledge and art of reflexology within the profession, established the International Council of Reflexologists (ICR) in 1990 in Toronto.

PURPOSE
To meet the needs of the Profession by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information; convening international conferences.

PRINCIPLES
The Organization and its Members, in pursuit of the Purpose stated above agree to act in accordance with the following Principles:

Set an example of inclusiveness, respectful consideration, and tolerance for any reflexology theory, technique, and practitioner.

All members shall have equal rights. The Organization will not discriminate on the basis of nationality, language, religion, sex, sexual orientation, color, ethnic origin, or age.

The Organization will not interfere with the actions of members, associations, or educational institutions within its membership so long as their actions do not harm individual members, other associations, or the public.

The International Council of Reflexologists conducts its affairs through a General Council to which all members belong and an Executive Board to which members are elected.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the International Council of Reflexologists is open to all reflexologists, associations, educational institutions and teachers throughout the world regardless of methodology and techniques. ICR has members now in thirty-six countries.
